Course Description

Comprehensive medical training designed for people who venture into remote and challenging environments. Austere Medicine differs significantly from standard medical training that is oriented toward urban environments with intact or available medical services. This course teaches how to manage medical emergencies when hospitals and rescue services may not be available for an extensive time period. We prepare students for emergency situations that involve prolonged patient care, severe environments, and improvised equipment. This course will come with a Certification from Wilderness Medical Associate in Wilderness Advanced First Aid and a certification in "Stop the Bleed" from the American College of Surgeons Cancellation Policy Now - July 1 : 100% refund July2 - September 1 : 50% refund September 2 or later : no refund available
